It was our first visit to this place. Many parking spots and a nice indoor area. Trivia night was going on so it was quite packed. The menu is versatile and beer selection is great. We had the burger which was well made, fries which were excellent, and Cobb salat which was ok (a bit small and the feta cheese was kind of blend). Service was great but we had some trouble getting help as we were ready to pay a leave. Overall, we will be back, maybe not on Tuesday though:)))
This is a very nice pub. Service was quick, and the atmosphere was cozy. The food was delicious. I had the Comfort Meatloaf meal. My wife had the Taps on 2nd cheese steak. The waitress was polite and attentive. She made sure that everything was to our liking. I would recommend Taps on 2nd Tavern & Grill.
Great food and atmosphere. Friendly service. It's a nice place to relax and have a great meal. I love the selection of beer from local breweries.
We ordered wings from here last night after hearing great reviews. We ordered 2 dozen wings and came out to 37 with tax. Kinda steep in pricing but the quality and taste is where you hope it to be. We ordered 1 dozen medium and 1 dozen called sweet hot or something like that. These are definitely some of the best wings around.
Food was amazing, service was fast and price was exceptional. I'd definitely recommend this place for a bite to eat with fast and friendly service. The ultimate BLT with their beer battered fries were delicious
I don’t usually eat a 20 burger meal, but when I do, I want it to be like this. Cajun Bacon Brisket Burger. So big and so good that you can share it with a friend. Best burger I’ve had in a very long time.
This place has great food. I ordered a steak and cheese and it was really delicious. My wife ordered spaghetti and meatballs. She said the spaghetti was really good. She thought the meatballs were just ok, no real complaints about it. Not pictured was the chili we ordered. We were not a fan. It's watery and really sweet. I am not going to take off points because it's just not how we prefer our chili. If you like a sweeter chili, I am sure you will love theirs. The best part of this whole experience was their wings. We got the too hot wings and they were amazing. Perfectly cooked and delicious. I wish we got more. We only got a dozen, but I know we will be back for more. They were remodeling at this time, but I hope the next time we visit they are done and we can truly enjoy this place.
This place is a great place to grab a decent lunch/dinner and have a drink. Nice cozy bar atmosphere. It isn't just a bar with a menu as an afterthought it is a nice place for both good food and good drinks. If you are visiting anywhere near Altoona or interstate 99, you should consider Taps on 2nd. Waitstaff were very professional and friendly.
